BiP part two

Binding immunoglobulin protein (BiP) also known as 78 kDa glucose-regulated protein (GRP-78) or heat shock 70 kDa protein 5 (HSPA5) is a protein that was frequently found across several missions by our users. It is suspected to be involved in metabolic diseases such as obesity and diabetes; as well as, neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer's disease. NGLY1 is considered an inborn error of carbohydrate metabolism, and has neurological symptoms. Help clarify how/if BiP is involved.
