Galactosemia and Oxidative Stress

Galactosemia is a rare genetic metabolic disorder that affects an individual's ability to metabolize the sugar galactose properly. Galactosemia appeared in several abstracts from the O-linked Glycosylation Disorders (OGD) set as well as the Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation (CDG) set and was marked frequently by Mark2Curators. Mark2Curators have already helped to find clues on how galactosemia affects glycosylation, and in doing so, expanded on the aforementioned missions. Now, help uncover how the CDG and OGD missions may tie to the Oxidative Stress mission by exploring the literature around galactosemia AND Oxidative Stress.
